J-Bros Detailing ("J-Bros", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how it's used, who it's shared with, and how you can ask us to access or delete it. It applies to jbrosdetailing.com and to the quote form on this site.
What we collect
When you submit a quote request, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, the service you're asking about, your vehicle's make, model, year and colour, and your preferred timeframe. If you text us photos of your vehicle, call, or contact us by email instead, we collect whatever you send or tell us in that conversation.
We also collect basic analytics data automatically when you browse this site: things like the pages you visit, how you arrived here, and general device and location information. This doesn't include the quote-form details above unless you submit the form.
Why we collect it and how it's used
We use quote-form details for exactly one purpose: to work out a price for your job and get back to you about it, whether that's by phone, text or email. We don't use it to build a marketing list without your say-so, and we don't sell it. Analytics data helps us understand which pages and services people are actually interested in, so we can keep the site useful and fix anything that isn't working.
Who we share it with
Quote enquiries are stored in our customer relationship management system, GoHighLevel, which is where the details you submit land so the person quoting your job can see them and follow up. We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used; both receive anonymised or aggregated browsing data, not your quote-form details. We don't share your information with anyone else, and we don't sell it to third parties.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to recognise repeat visits and measure how people move through the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which we also run, is cookie-free: it measures overall traffic without placing any cookie on your device or tracking you individually. You can block or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so won't stop you from browsing the site or submitting a quote request.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and enquiry details for as long as they're useful to you as a customer, for example if you come back for another service later, and otherwise for only as long as we reasonably need them to handle your enquiry and meet our own record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your details and there's no ongoing job or legal reason to keep them, we will.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or text 0418 111 421, or email info@j-brosdetailing.com, and we'll action it directly, since we're the same people who quoted and did the work.
Our commitment
J-Bros Detailing is committed to handling your information in a way that's consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth): collecting only what we reasonably need, using it for the purpose you gave it to us, keeping it reasonably secure, and giving you a straightforward way to access or delete it. As a small business, we don't claim to have every formal obligation of a larger APP entity, but we run this site and handle your details in line with those principles regardless.
