Mobile detailing · Gold Coast wide

Car detailing at your driveway, anywhere on the Gold Coast

J-Bros Detailing runs two core mobile detailing packages across the Gold Coast: the Standard Mini Detail from $249 (a full inside-and-out refresh) and the Interior Deep Clean from $249, our most popular service, which extracts sunscreen, salt air, sand and pet hair from seats, carpets and trim. We detail at your driveway or workplace, Gold Coast wide, Coolangatta to Coomera. Call 0418 111 421 or grab a free quote below.

What's included in a mobile car detail?

Both packages are full mobile services: we bring everything to your driveway or workplace and hand back a finished car. The difference is focus. The Standard Mini Detail splits the visit between a proper exterior wash and an interior tidy-up, so the whole car comes up fresh. The Interior Deep Clean skips the outside almost entirely and pours that time into extraction: seats, carpets, mats and trim get a reset that vacuuming and wiping can't match. The table below shows every inclusion side by side:

Swipe sideways to compare both packages.

Inclusions compared: Interior Deep Clean versus Standard Mini Detail
Included Interior Deep Clean Most popular from $249 Standard Mini Detail from $249
Snow-foam pre-soak + pH-neutral hand wash Not included Included
Wheels, tyres and arches cleaned, tyres dressed Not included Included
Exterior glass and mirrors polished Not included Included
Interior glass cleaned Included Included
Door jambs and seals wiped down Included Included
Full interior vacuum, boot included Included Included
Dash, console and trim wiped + UV-safe dressing Included Included
Hot-water extraction shampoo: seats, carpets, mats Included Not included
Targeted stain treatment (coffee, milk, sunscreen) Included Not included
Pet-hair removal Included Not included
Leather seats cleaned and conditioned Included Not included
Vents, cup holders and crevices detail-brushed Included Not included
Deodorise and sanitise finish Included Not included

Every inclusion above is done by hand by the J-Bros crew: no drive-through machinery, no subcontractors. If your car needs bits of both (say, extraction on one seat plus a full wash), ask when you book and we'll build the visit around it rather than forcing you into the wrong package.

How much does car detailing cost on the Gold Coast?

Both of our core mobile packages start at $249, and the "from" does real work: the final price depends on vehicle size and condition, and it's quoted up front before anything is booked. A sand-loaded dual cab that's had a big summer takes longer than a garaged hatchback, and the price reflects those hours. The price you're quoted is the price you pay on the day. Quotes are free, and most quotes come back the same working day (Mon-Sat, 8am-6pm). Use the form below or call 0418 111 421 and we'll lock your price before you commit to anything.

Do you really come to me?

Yes. Mobile is how J-Bros works. Book a time and we detail the car wherever it lives: your driveway in Elanora, the office car park in Robina or Southport, the ute bay at a Nerang worksite. We work Gold Coast wide, Coolangatta to Coomera: Burleigh Waters, Palm Beach, Miami, Varsity Lakes and everywhere between, but not Brisbane or northern NSW, so you get a local crew on local roads, not someone racing down the M1 from another city.

Tell us where the car will be parked when you book (driveway, apartment complex, secured office parking) and we'll confirm any power or water access we need for that spot before the day. Two jobs stay off the driveway: ceramic coating and multi-stage paint correction both need controlled conditions, so they happen at our Burleigh Waters workshop on Burleigh Connection Road. Lighter single-stage enhancement polishing can still come to you.

How long does a detail take?

It depends on the package, the size of the vehicle and how the car has been living, so we quote a time window along with the price and stick to both. As a working guide, a Standard Mini Detail is a shorter visit and an Interior Deep Clean runs longer because of the hot-water extraction; either way you'll get the exact window for your car when you book.

Things that stretch a job: heavy pet hair, sand ground deep into the carpet (a Gold Coast speciality), interiors that haven't been touched in years, and bigger rigs like dual-cab utes and seven-seaters. Everything happens in a single visit, and you don't need to hover. Most customers hand over the keys and get on with their day, and we message the moment it's done. One planning note: seats and carpets stay slightly damp for a few hours after extraction, so if you need the car bone-dry that evening, tell us and we'll schedule you earlier in the day.

Interior deep clean: what can be saved?

More than most people expect. Hot-water extraction pushes cleaning solution deep into the fabric and pulls it back out with the grime, so coffee and milk spills, sunscreen transfer on seat bolsters, beach sand worked into the carpet pile, footwell mud from site boots and years of general grey come out rather than getting smeared around. Pet hair lifts with dedicated tools before extraction. Leather gets cleaned and conditioned instead of wiped shiny.

We won't promise miracles. Dye transfer from new jeans on light leather, bleach and burn marks, deep-set stains that have had years to cure, and sun-perished or cracked trim are damage, not dirt. No extraction rig undoes them. When you ask for a quote, tell us what you're worried about and text us a photo; we'll tell you straight whether it will come out, improve, or need a motor trimmer instead of a detailer.

How often should I detail my car?

For a car that lives on the Gold Coast, more often than the owner's-manual crowd admits. Our climate is hard on interiors and paint: Queensland UV bakes dashes and fades trim year-round, salt air works on everything within a few kilometres of the surf (Palm Beach, Currumbin, Mermaid Waters, we're looking at you), and a daily M1 commute films the car in brake dust and road grime.

As a working rhythm: an Interior Deep Clean once or twice a year keeps fabric and leather from turning into next year's expensive problem, with a Standard Mini Detail every month or two in between if the car earns its keep (kids, dogs, tradie gear, beach trips). If it's the paint you want to protect, regular washing only goes so far. That's the job ceramic coating was built for, and it's the paint-protection upgrade we'd point most daily-driven Gold Coast cars toward.

Frequently asked questions

The things Gold Coast drivers ask before booking a mobile detail.

Which should I book: the Standard Mini Detail or the Interior Deep Clean?

If the outside needs love too, book the Standard Mini Detail: it covers a full exterior wash plus a proper interior tidy-up in one visit. If the inside is the problem (sand through the carpets, sunscreen on the seats, kids, pets, coffee), go for the Interior Deep Clean, our most popular service, which puts the whole visit into extraction and interior restoration. Both start at $249, so the choice is about focus, not budget.

Do I need to be home while you detail my car?

No. Plenty of our regulars are at work while we detail. All we need is access to the car, somewhere for it to sit for the duration, and a plan for keys: leave them with reception, a lockbox or a family member. We confirm the arrangement when you book and message you the moment the car is done. If it's your first booking and you'd rather be around for the start, that's fine too.

Can you detail my car at work?

Yes. Office car parks around Robina, Southport and Varsity Lakes are some of our most common jobs. Book a time, park as normal, hand the keys to reception if you like, and drive home in a clean car. If the car park is secured or the building has rules about washing on site, tell us when you book and we'll confirm what's possible for that spot. An Interior Deep Clean is usually easier to accommodate indoors than a full exterior wash.

Can you get pet hair and dog smell out?

Almost always, yes. Pet hair comes out with dedicated hair-removal tools before we extract the seats and carpets, and hot-water extraction plus the deodorising step deals with most dog odour at the source instead of masking it with fragrance. Heavy, long-term odour that has soaked into seat foam or the ventilation system can take more than one treatment, though, and we'll tell you upfront if your car is in that category. Mention pets when you book so we allow the right amount of time.

Do you detail utes, 4WDs and vans?

All the time. This is the Gold Coast, so a big share of our bookings are Rangers, HiLuxes and LandCruisers. Bigger vehicles carry more interior surface area, and work utes usually bring extra site dust and sand, which is why our pricing is 'from': we quote the real price for your vehicle before anything is booked. Dual cabs, vans, seven-seaters and camper setups are all fine. Put the make and model in the quote form.

Is a mobile detail safe for my paint?

Yes. It's safer than most of the alternatives. We start with a snow-foam pre-soak to lift grit off the panel before anything touches it, then wash with pH-neutral shampoo and proper technique, so we're not grinding grime into the clear coat the way an automatic car wash or a quick chamois job can. If your paint already carries swirl marks from years of rough washing, that's a paint correction job, not a detail. We can quote one while we're there.

Which Gold Coast suburbs do you cover?

We're based in Burleigh Waters and cover the whole Gold Coast: Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Miami, Mermaid Waters, Varsity Lakes, Robina, Elanora, Currumbin, Southport, Nerang and everywhere between. We don't currently service Brisbane or northern NSW. If you're on the edge of the map, get in touch first and we'll confirm before you book.

Should I get a detail before selling my car?

Strongly, yes. A professionally detailed car photographs better, invites fewer what's-that-stain negotiations and signals that the whole vehicle has been looked after. For a quick refresh before listing, the two packages on this page do the job. If you want the full treatment for the ad photos, with deeper exterior work and a showroom-level finish, that's what our Pre-Sale Detailing package (from $599) is built for.

How often should I book a detail?

For most Gold Coast daily drivers, every 3-4 months keeps things in check, with a proper hand wash in between. Coastal salt air, outdoor parking or heavier use (work vehicles, kids, pets) pushes that cadence tighter; a garaged weekend car can stretch it out further. We break the full guidance down by usage profile on our how often should you detail your car page.
